Faroe Adventures operates as a booking and reseller platform connecting travelers with local, licensed operators in the Faroe Islands. By booking a tour on our website, you enter into an agreement with the tour operator responsible for delivering the service.
Faroe Adventures acts as a commercial agent (Handelsagent) on behalf of the operator.


2. Scope of Service

Faroe Adventures markets and resells tours and experiences operated by independent Faroese companies.
All bookings made on FaroeAdventures.com are subject to the individual operator’s availability and confirmation.
The operator holds full responsibility for the delivery, safety, and quality of the experience once it begins.


3. Prices and Payments

  • All prices are listed in DKK and include VAT where applicable.

  • Payment is made securely online via credit/debit card at the time of booking.

  • Faroe Adventures processes the payment on behalf of the operator.

  • A booking is confirmed once the payment has been completed and a confirmation email has been issued.

  • Payment Methods:
    Faroe Adventures accepts the following payment methods: Visa and Mastercard. All payments are processed securely through our payment provider.


4. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations by the Customer

Day Tours

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the start of the tour: full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the start or in case of no-show: no refund.

Cancellations by the Operator

If a tour is cancelled by the operator due to weather, safety, or technical issues, Faroe Adventures will:

  1. Offer to reschedule the booking, or

  2. Issue a full refund on behalf of the operator if rescheduling isn’t possible.

Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.


5. Liability

Faroe Adventures acts only as a reseller and intermediary.

  • We do not operate tours ourselves and are not liable for any accidents, losses, injuries, delays, or damages occurring during a tour.

  • The operator holds full operational, safety, and legal responsibility once the activity begins.

  • Any claims or disputes related to tour execution must be directed to the operator.

  • Faroe Adventures assists in communication between customers and operators if needed.


6. Changes to Bookings

Operators reserve the right to modify routes, schedules, or itineraries due to weather or operational reasons.
Whenever possible, customers will be notified in advance.


7. Pricing, Inclusions, and Exclusions

  • Prices apply to the period and currency shown on each product page.

  • Prices may change before booking is confirmed.

  • Unless otherwise stated, prices exclude personal insurance, meals, or transportation not specified in the tour description.


8. Use of Website

By using www.discoverfaroeislands.com, you agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and to make legitimate bookings.
Any unauthorized use, scraping, or automated booking attempts are prohibited.
All content on this website (images, text, and prices) is protected by copyright and may not be copied or republished without written consent from Faroe Adventures.
