Small-group experience (max 16 people)
Experience one of the Faroe Islands’ most spectacular natural wonders on the Drangarnir boat tour Faroe Islands. This 1.5-hour sightseeing trip takes you up close to the famous Drangarnir sea stacks, towering dramatically between the islands of Vágar and Tindhólmur.
No photograph can truly capture what it feels like to sail beneath these monumental cliffs — this is an experience you simply must see in person.
Your journey begins at the small-boat marina in Sørvágur, where you’ll meet your experienced local skipper. After a short safety briefing and life-jacket fitting, the boat glides smoothly out of the harbour toward open sea. Along the way, you’ll enjoy views of Akranes, Múlafossur Waterfall, and the rugged coastline of Vágar Island.
The skipper, a lifelong local, shares stories about the island’s geology, wildlife, and culture, offering fascinating insights that connect you to the landscape around you.
As the boat approaches Drangarnir, the view becomes unforgettable. Weather permitting, the skipper carefully navigates close to the towering stacks, even passing beneath the natural arch for a once-in-a-lifetime perspective.
You’ll also see Tindhólmur, the striking island made famous as the backdrop in Peter Pan & Wendy. Keep your camera ready — seals are often spotted resting on the rocks, and seabirds circle overhead.
This is the perfect opportunity for photography lovers and nature enthusiasts to capture the Faroe Islands at their most dramatic.
