Discover the best of the Faroe Islands in a single day on the See It All Guided Vágar tour. This full-day small-group experience combines culture, cuisine, and adventure — from traditional Faroese dining to dramatic cliffs and waterfalls.
With just eight guests per tour, this is an intimate journey through the heart of Vágar. You’ll explore hidden villages, sail beneath towering sea cliffs, and enjoy authentic local food prepared and served by Faroese hosts.
Your day begins at 08:30 AM, with a comfortable pickup from Tórshavn. Sit back and enjoy the scenic one-hour drive west toward the island of Vágar. Your local guide shares stories of Faroese history, nature, and everyday life as you travel through green valleys and past rugged mountains.
As we approach Vágar, the Guide will stop at a couple of the most popular viewpoints in Vágar, where you will have great opportunity for good pictures.
Upon arrival, you’ll stop in Bø, one of the most picturesque villages in the Faroe Islands. Here you’ll enjoy a short walk through the village to see turf-roofed houses and a stunning view of Tindhólmur and Drangarnir rising from the sea.
Late morning, you’ll board a small sightseeing boat for a breathtaking journey along Vágar’s coastline. Cruise beneath dramatic cliffs, explore hidden caves, and discover secret spots accessible only by sea. Keep your camera ready — every turn reveals new perspectives of the islands.
The boat ride offers both adventure and tranquility — a true highlight of the day and an unforgettable way to see the raw beauty of the Faroe Islands.
After returning to shore, enjoy a homemade lunch in a local Faroese home in Bø. Sit down to traditional dishes prepared with local ingredients and learn about village life directly from your hosts. This personal dining experience gives you a genuine taste of Faroese hospitality and culture.
In the afternoon, visit Múlafossur Waterfall in Gásadalur, where water flows directly from the cliffs into the Atlantic Ocean — one of the most photographed sights in the Faroe Islands.
Before heading back to Tórshavn, make a short stop at Sørvágsvatn, the island’s largest lake, known for its optical illusion where the lake appears to hover above the ocean.
The tour ends back in Tórshavn around 15:45, giving you the rest of the evening to relax and reflect on an incredible day of exploration.
